Exam Pattern and Duration
The HP TET JBT exam is generally composed of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 1 mark. The total duration for the exam is usually 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking, so candidates should attempt all questions. The subjects are distributed as follows:
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions
- Language 1 (English): 30 questions
- Language 2 (Hindi): 30 questions
- Environmental Studies (EVS -Science, GK, EVS (SST) : 30 questions
- Mathematics: 30 questions
