Essential Qualifications :

Research Associate-1	Ph.D in Forest Genetics/ Tree Improvement/ Plant Genetics or related discipline OR First Class M.Sc. in Genetics and Tree Improvement wiht 02 years of research experience Desirable : NET qualified and having experience in relevant field
Junior Research Fellow	First class M.Sc. in Forest Genetics/ Tree Improvement Plant Genetics. (NET qualification essential) Desirable : Preference will be given to candidate having experience in relevant field.
Junior Project Fellow	First Class M.Sc. in Forestry /Botany. Desirable : Preference will be given to candidate having experience in relevant field
Project Assistant	B.Sc (Forestry/Botany)
Data Entry Operator	Candidates have passed Graduation Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having expereince in data entry and knowledge of computer applications viz. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point etc.

Salary for Various Posts in HFRI Shimla

Junior Project Fellow	Rs. 24,000/- per month +HRA as admisible
Project Assistant	Rs. 19000/- per month (Fixed)
Data Entry Operator	Rs. 15,000/- per month (Fixed)

Age Limit :

Age (as on date of interview i.e. 27th November, 2024) in case of Research Associate (35 years), JRF/JPF (28 years), Project Assistant (30 years) and Data Entry Operator (30 years) should not be exceeded. Further relaxation of 5 years in age to SC/ST/OBC/ Woman candidates will be given as per approved rules.

Interview Date :

All the interested candidates and having required/ essential educational qualification may attend interview on 27th November, 2024 starting at 10.00AM in the Institute. Applications for each of the position are to be submitted separately alongwith educational documents otherwise their candidature is liable to be rejected

How To Apply :

Candidates are to deposit their application on prescribed form through Registered / Ordinary Post or By Hand only latest by 22-11-2024 (giving details of Name, Date of birth, Father’s Name, Permanent & Current Address, Educational qualification from High School/ Higher Secondary onwards with the name of Institution, Year of Passing, Marks obtained, Medium of study and field experience, with one passport size colour photograph affixed on it). They are also requested to attach self-attested photocopies of all the testimonials along with the application. The original mark-sheets, certificates, experience certificates, etc. are also required to be verified at the time of interview.
